My child has attended one Superleague trial, he cannot make the second trial, will he still be eligible? If the coach decides to run more than one trial, the requirement to be selected is to have attended at least one trial and advised the coach that you cannot or could not attend the second trial.
The main point is that no one is eligible for selection without having attended trial(s).
When does the transfer / registration window close ? Transfer and registrations window closes at the end of January each season, players may register to the team after this point as a TRAINING member only for insurance purposes. They cannot play any official games at league or National levels.
What are the transfer fees? A player moving clubs within the league will be charged £25.00 transfer fee payable to the league.
Are there fees for players transferring into our region from another Bipha region? The player will only be charged the £5-00 league subscription when transferring from another region to our region. Bipha registration fee of £25.00 will remain with the originating region.
Is there a fee transferring teams within the same club, example Div1 to Div2 at senior levels? There is a transfer fee of £15.00 to be paid for internal transfers form league to league within the same club.
Can we request a change in game schedule? The simple answer is NO, games will only be changed due to weather or facility cancellations, or Inline Regional event requirements.
Can we swap a game with another team in the same league ? No, added to the answer above, the results on the web site are expecting a completed game on the days schedule, the administration of this would get out of control.
Can we swap times of our games on the same day? This has been done in the past, however because the referees schedules are planned to games, this can only be done in the future with the express agreement in writing from all involved teams and final approval by the head referee. Should this ‘agreement’ not be completed in full with ALL parties formally agreeing, all affected games will be documented as 0-0 and both teams share the usual costs.
How much are the game fees? Currently the game fees are £50.00 per team per game,
What are the forfeit costs? If a team cannot field a team for the scheduled games, that team will be liable and charged for the complete fee of the game which includes the fees of their intended opposition, £100.00. The score will be documented as a 5-0 loss against the forfeiting team.
How many players can I have in each team? You may register a squad of seventeen outfield players and three netminders to any one team / age group.
How many players can I field for a game? You may field fourteen (14) of your seventeen player squad entitlement and two of the three net minder entitlement.
How many players do I need for a game? From U16 and above the minimum players required to start a game must be four registered outfield players and one registered netminder. IN such circumstances that the minimum team is fielded, should the game not be able to continue at any point within the first period due to penalties, the team shall be liable and charged for the full forfeit costs and the 5-0 loss forfeit rule shall apply. If the game is suspended due to [penalties in the second period, the score shall remain if the short benched team are losing, in the event the short benched team are winning the score shall be recorded as a 5-0 loss with the costs of the game shared.
Can we delay the game if our players do not arrive on time? The start of the game may be delayed by a total of fifteen minutes (ten minutes plus the five minute warm up period) in the event of a late arrival. Then normal game forfeit rule shall apply.
If players are seen to be in the facility and simply do not get changed on time, then NO delay is permitted.
Can a player arriving late join the bench? Any player that arrives after the game has started must be on the bench fully kitted and able to play before the end of the first period. A player cannot assume a position on the bench after the first period buzzer.
Can we register players on the day of the game? The process of registration can be completed on the day with the payment, however players cannot be ‘recruited’ to a team on the day of the game(s). All players must have been registered on the database and the league Officials notified twenty four hours prior to the game.
If I reach thirty penalty minutes, how many games am I suspended Although within the National Rule book it is one game for reaching thirty minutes, our region exercises a TWO game ban for reaching thirty penalty minutes that must be served within the age group relevant to the penalties. You are free to play at other qualifying age groups.
How long are the games Games within our region are two periods of fifteen minutes with stop clock.
Score of an eight goal difference If a score reaches an eight goal difference at ANY point within the game, the game will then transfer to running clock for the duration of the game.
How long is the warm up period There may be a five minute warm up period. This may be reduced at the discretion of the officials on the day subject to game day schedules. Teams cannot enter the rink to begin the warm up before the players from the previous game have left the rink.

If I am actually 19 and still play in the U18 league do I have to wear the upper body protection? Yes, if you qualify to play by date of birth in the U18 age group you have to comply with the safety equipment of that age group
When can I start to wear a half visor? You can only reduce the face visor from a full face to half visor when your minimum age group qualification is U21 or above
